| Bio: | Science fiction writer from NJ, living in UK since 1995. I have three young children and I also maintain my partner's martial arts website, so my time and energy are usually in deficit. I try to scratch together as much fiction as I can. The blog is mainly about what I'm writing, although life things do filter in.
When I read over my entries, they sound highly neurotic and insecure. I function at a reasonably high level of competancy in life, but somehow writing always brings me to my knees.
The title of this blog comes from something Ian McDonald wrote in the comments thread. He meant to type (vis a vis writing), 'it's that moment of burn that makes it all worthwhile' but instead he wrote, 'it's that moment of burnt hat makes it all worthwhile.' Says it all for me! |
